Sarcoma is a rare form of cancer which can affect any part of the body. On average 15 people are diagnosed with sarcoma each day in the UK and it is the third most common cancer in people under 25. In May 2022, Emma was diagnosed with a soft tissue sarcoma, the sub-type remains undetermined, following treatment she has been in remission since December 2023. TeamEmma is determined to support Sarcoma UK in their research to improve diagnosis, treatment and survival rates.
